Praise God!!! The construction is complete on our inaugural Step By Step Children's Orphanage in Abuakwa, Kumasi, Ghana! The children's rooms and main residence house are ready for furnishing.
So now, the time has been appointed for us to take the next step and make our permanent move to Ghana. We will be relocating to and taking residence at the Step By Step Children's Orphanage (SBSCO) Abuakwa campus shortly after our arrival in Ghana on May 1st.
Once established, our immediate mission will be to prepare the rooms for the children. Even with that being said, there is much to do administratively in preparation for their arrival. There will be interactions with the Government of Ghana, Social Services, local leaders, the Church, and school administrators, to assure we are in compliance with regulations and requirements for start-up. We covet your prayers and support during this process and for the coming days.
Our prayer and purpose for God's precious children is that they will receive a Home, a Hope, and a Future, set on a foundation of God's love. We are anticipating that the healing power and personal presence of Jesus in their lives will transform their minds and hearts for generations to come!
We will communicate via our website as we progress toward bringing the children home. We are excited. For in very short time, we will see the first children arrive at Step By Step Children's Orphanage!!!
